Rev. Otis Moss compares Wright to Jesus’ crucifixion

Via Fox:

“The controversy surrounding Barack Obama’s former pastor has served only as a rallying cry for the 8,000-member Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, as the church’s new pastor decried the media frenzy as a modern-day lynching that resembles Jesus’ death at the hands of the Romans.

The Rev. Otis Moss III never mentioned the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. by name, but his predecessor was the underpinning of his first Easter sermon on Sunday.

He implied to the congregation that Wright, who has delivered sermons in which he likened the U.S. to the Ku Klux Klan and said it is damned for its state-sponsored terrorism, is facing the same challenges Jesus did.

“No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching,” he said. “The lynching was national news. The RNN, the Roman News Network, was reporting it and NPR, National Publican Radio had it on the radio. The Jerusalem Post and the Palestine Times all wanted exclusives, they searched out the young ministers, showed up unannounced at their houses, tried to talk with their families, called up their friends, wanted to get a quote on how do you feel about the lynching?” he said.

The Sunday services made clear that the criticism surrounding Wright has not softened the church’s sermons, as the pastors defiantly defended their method of worship.

“If I was Ice Cube I’d say it a little differently — You picked the wrong folk to mess with,” Moss said to an enthusiastic congregation, standing up during much of the sermon, titled “How to Handle a Public Lynching.”

Oh please. Let’s do anything but let’s not make Jeremiah Wright a martyr. Wright is a racist and the worst kind of racist - he denies it. I mentioned before that the new leader of the UCC isn’t far from the tree where he fell from.

Person behind passport peekaboo connected with Obama?

Apparently it’s going to be another very bad week for Obama. First a campaign aide compares Bill Clinton to Joe McCarthy, then it turns out that the road of whodunit on the passport peekaboo leads right back to his door.

“The State Department investigation of improper computer access to passport records of three presidential candidates is focusing on one remaining employee — a contract worker with a company headed by an adviser to the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama

The probe by State’s inspector general will include polygraph tests for supervisors in the passport section to find out whether the three contract employees who accessed the records had a political motive or were part of a political operation to obtain personal data on Mr. Obama, Sen. John McCain or Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Two of the three contract employees had been fired before The Washington Times first reported Thursday on security breaches involving Mr. Obama’s passport records. The furor expanded yesterday to incidents involving the passport records of Mr. McCain and Mrs. Clinton.

The third employee, who has not been fired, worked for The Analysis Corporation (TAC), which is headed by John O. Brennan, a former CIA agent who is an adviser to Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign on intelligence and foreign policy.”

Yeah, I know. Barak will come out and say that although he spent many nights drinking sweet mint tea with Mr. Brennan he cannot be held responsible - although every other candidate on the planet would be - for the actions of those under his watch. Of course it is just a coincidence, a “fluke”.

And this story “leaked out” just as Obama was going down for count last week over “hoof in mouth” disease.

Un-huh.

Don’t change the subject, Obama said what he said!

Black pundits and liberal enablers like CNN are attempting to tell us that Barak Obama meant something entirely different when he called his white grandmother the “typical white person”. As if we didn’t “get his point”, although there was not “getting it in the first place”.

“There’s a new anti-Obama storyline whipping through cyberspace at the speed of stupid.

Put simply, some Internet nitwits say Obama’s comment that his white grandmother - who made racist remarks and was fearful of blacks - was a “typical white person” just proves he can’t stop alienating white voters.

Never mind that Obama’s point, made casually Thursday on a Philadelphia radio show, was to emphasize the important truth that whites, including his elderly grandmother, are slowly winning the fight to purge their hearts of poisonous prejudices.

That message was swiftly discarded as a gaggle of bloggers and correspondents - whose collective contribution to an honest national dialogue about race has been nil - pounced.”

“Nil pounced”? Hardly, it was very clear what Barak said. Roll the tape again.

Obama typical white person
by dollarsandsense123

Now you can’t get any more clear than that.

When appearing on Larry King where he was semi-confronted on the remark, Obama stumbled and bumbled into incoherance.

The fact is that he said what he said and if any white person had said the same of a black person - such as a John McCain, Mr. Louis would be - along with the rest of the liberal media - outraged. That “poison of prejudice” by the way hasn’t been exhibited by whites during this election season, but by the lips of Obama, Rev. Wright, yourself (watch who’s heart you’re calling ‘poisoned’), and other liberal pundits who wondered whether Barak was the “Magic Negro”, or mused on whether he was “Black enough”.

“Speed of stupid” indeed.

Please sir, don’t insult our intelligence!

Is the Obama Campaign behind Obama’s Passport File Peekaboo?

(Donning Tinfoil hat)…

Sneaking suspicious on the left:

“Anything to distract from Michigan and Florida and disenfranchising over 2 million Democrats. Who alerted the media to this? The Obama campaign?”

Well, nothing to support it, and we don’t know who these contractors are, but think about it. Bad week - and getting worse - for Obama and “all of a sudden”, POOF, a story on his passport file being spied on hits the wires three hours after the nightly news cycle.

Hmmmmmm. Like I said in my original post, “I suspect the timing”.

Wright voiced support of Hamas in Church letter

Via WND:

“JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama’s Chicago church reprinted a manifesto by Hamas that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group’s official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America’s Declaration of Independence.

The Hamas piece was published on the “Pastor’s Page” of the Trinity United Church of Christ newsletter reserved for Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose anti-American, anti-Israel remarks landed Obama in hot water, prompting the presidential candidate to deliver a major race speech earlier this week.

Hamas, responsible for scores of shootings, suicide bombings and rocket launchings against civilian population centers, is listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department.

The revelation follows a recent WND article quoting Israeli security officials who expressed “concern” about Robert Malley, an adviser to Obama who has advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group.

In his July 22, 2007, church bulletin, Wright reprinted an article by Mousa Abu Marzook, identified in the newsletter as a “deputy of the political bureau of Hamas.” A photo image of the newsletter was captured and posted today by the business blog BizzyBlog. The Hamas piece was first published by the Los Angeles Times, garnering the newspaper much criticism.”

Here’s a piece from Wright’s newsletter:

“Why should Palestine “recognize” the monstrous crime carried out by Israel’s founders and continue by it’s deformed modern apartheid state”

Not a great surprise that supporters of the messiah would want to do - as he said he would do actually - talk with terrorist and get cozy.

“WND reported in January that Malley, an Obama foreign policy adviser, has penned numerous opinion articles, many of them co-written with a former adviser to the late Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat, petitioning for dialogue with Hamas and blasting Israel for policies he says harm the Palestinian cause.

Malley also previously penned a well-circulated New York Review of Books piece largely blaming Israel for the collapse of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations at Camp David in 2000 when Arafat turned down a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and eastern sections of Jerusalem and instead returned to the Middle East to launch an intifada, or terrorist campaign, against the Jewish state.

Malley’s contentions have been strongly refuted by key participants at Camp David, including President Clinton, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and primary U.S. envoy to the Middle East Dennis Ross, all of whom squarely blamed Arafat’s refusal to make peace for the talks’ failure.”

Remember, despite Obama and his minions protestations, he sat under the tutelage of this racist anti-semite for 20 years. Of course Obama would disavow any knowing of the dealings of his supporters, and Rev. Wright, nevertheless, when you begin to put it all together it paints the picture that we have a very dangerous man running for the Presidency.
