Madam Albright - THE worst Secretary of State EVER!

That of course is the truth. Yet instead of doing us all favor and going into a cave somewhere and like - die, Al-Not-So-Bright - has chosen to spend her decaying years decrying, what else - BUSH!

“Nearly seven years out office, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright pulls no punches bashing the Bush administration’s handling of certain issues – calling it one of America’s “worst presidencies.”

Albright gave President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney very poor marks and listed goals for the next president to do better that include embracing a global view of climate change.

“This is a purely practical point here, and I think there’s a lot of work to be done” Albright said. “And I think the judgment is that this is one of the worst presidencies we’ve had and people will wonder what it is that the role of the vice president is.”

Albright spoke to a very supportive crowd on January 9 at a Barnes & Noble Bookstore in the Georgetown neighborhood in Washington, D.C. to promote her new book “Memo to the President Elect: How We Can Restore America’s Reputation and Leadership.”

Yep, step right up and have a toast with thugs and dictators. By the way, how much did you get for those nuke secrets?

Brian De Palma’s Fantasy Internet Movie

Antiwar Director DePalma is at it again!

“VENICE (Reuters) - A new film about the real-life rape and killing of a 14-year-old Iraqi girl by U.S. soldiers who also murdered her family stunned the Venice festival, with shocking images that left some viewers in tears.

“Redacted”, by U.S. director Brian De Palma, is one of at least eight American films on the war in Iraq due for release in the next few months and the first of two movies on the conflict screening in Venice’s main competition.

Inspired by one of the most serious crimes committed by American soldiers in Iraq since the 2003 invasion, it is a harrowing indictment of the conflict and spares the audience no brutality to get its message across.

De Palma, 66, whose “Casualties of War” in 1989 told a similar tale of abuse by American soldiers in Vietnam, makes no secret of the goal he is hoping to achieve with the film’s images, all based on real material he found on the Internet.

“The movie is an attempt to bring the reality of what is happening in Iraq to the American people,” he told reporters after a press screening.

“The pictures are what will stop the war. One only hopes that these images will get the public incensed enough to motivate their Congressmen to vote against this war,” he said.”

Causalities of War you’ll remember was the movie staring *snort* Sean (Spicoli) Penn and Michael J. Fox. It was along the genre of “Platoon” showing leftwing stereotypical pictures of crazed out of control troops razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan….blah, blah. What De Palma did with Causualties was to take basically John Kerry’s lies and unconfirmed acusations and create a film that made people think that Penn and Fox were every soldier that ever fought in Vietnam.

The rape of this young girl happened, but it didn’t happen everwhere, and it was a few - like Abu Grab - out of hundreds of throusand of troops that served honorably and gave the ulimate sacrifice.

The Reuters (an antiwar rag in it’s own right) continues of “Redacted”:

“Halfway between documentary and fiction, “Redacted” draws on soldiers’ home-made war videos, blogs and journals and footage posted on YouTube, reflecting changes in the way the media cover the war.”

“Halfway between documentary and fiction”…

In otherwords, just like Casualties it’s bullshit.

Perhaps it’s time to remove Senator Charles Schumer from the Senate

Charles Schumer is becoming a dangerous individual:

“New York Sen. Charles E. Schumer, a powerful member of the Democratic leadership, said Friday the Senate should not confirm another U.S. Supreme Court nominee under President Bush “except in extraordinary circumstances.”

“We should reverse the presumption of confirmation,” Schumer told the American Constitution Society convention in Washington. “The Supreme Court is dangerously out of balance. We cannot afford to see Justice Stevens replaced by another Roberts, or Justice Ginsburg by another Alito.”

Schumer’s assertion comes as Democrats and liberal advocacy groups are increasingly complaining that the Supreme Court with Bush’s nominees – Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel A. Alito – has moved quicker than expected to overturn legal precedents.

Senators were too quick to accept the nominees’ word that they would respect legal precedents, and “too easily impressed with the charm of Roberts and the erudition of Alito,” Schumer said.

“There is no doubt that we were hoodwinked,” said Schumer, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee and heads the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.”

Assclown. Nobody got “hoodwinked” and you and everybody else knew exactly what Alito and Roberts were all about. Hell Schumer didn’t vote for either one and made an ass out of himself with stupid questions during their hearings.

Unlike the leftist dolts who Schumer and Democrats have tradionally installed like Stevens and that total waste of a space Ruth (Sleepy) Ginsberg, who have always ruled from their socialist ideology. Schumer doesn’t want a 5-4 Conservative bent, he wants a 5-4 or better split socialist, which has choked the country for the last 40 years.

Alito and Roberts have thus far ruled on the law.

Fact is that Democrats are on a dangerous course and if not careful they will need to be dealt with via the constitution they have chosen to assault. Whether it’s usurping Executive Authority, Foreign Policy, and now - again - holding the judicial selection process hostage, they are proving themselves unworthy of the titles they hold and the Constitution has many provisions for dealing with their sort, including removal if necessary.

Wake up conservatives, the country is under siege. If Schumer and Leahy and the rest of these malcontents thinks we are going to sit by and let them continue to piss on the constitution they are wrong - very wrong.

Let your representitive know that you expect them to push back heavily against this kind of thuggery. It’s time to get busy folks and run these clowns out of town.

UPDATE: Hat Tip to commenter Shield for this excellent lesson on the Constitution. Again, enough is enough.
