House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco on ABC’s “This Week,” essentially called Cantor a hypocrite for criticizing the Wall Street protesters while embracing the “tea party” movement.
“I didn’t hear him say anything when the tea party was out demonstrating, actually spitting on members of Congress right here in the Capitol, and he and his colleagues were putting signs in the windows encouraging them,’ Pelosi said.
Of course being the hack pro-palestinian she is Christiane Amanpour didn’t challenge the false assertion which has been thoroghtly debunked many times. Cantor didn’t speak up because the incident never happened. She’s referring to the lie that the left spread last year that Tea Party protestors shouted gay and racist statements and spit at at Barney Frank and John Lewis as they crossed the street into the capital during a Tea Party contest. It didn’t happen, videos proved it, but don’t let that stop Pelosi from doing what Democrats do best, spread false rumors.
