Tipsters and news sources are indicating that Rahm Emanuel may step aside from his COS designate position as soon as this week. I see it happening sooner rather than later.
Over the weekend we learned that in spite of Barack Obama’s statement that no one in his staff talked to Blagojevich, Rahm Emanuel had several contacts with the governor’s staff.
Most agree that Obama has not handled this “first scandal” well, and we don’t know just how far the involvement goes. The only way to cut off the questioning would be if Emanuel stepped down, you know, to “spend more time with the family”.
That way Obama could stay clear and even appear outraged at Emanuel’s “betrayal”.

1Michelle Malkin has a wonderful piece on him whining about actually being questioned by reporters…
Rahm-a-drama: “Beet red” and “pissed” with the MSM
Loved her parting shot:
“Toughen up, sweetie. You’re from Chicago. Remember?”

3He is just the first in a long line to come. If scumbag Obama can throw his own grandma under the bus, any of the other scumbags could go with her!
