In spite of the Hilary campaign’s assertions that they had no idea about one of their chief fund raisers - Norman Hsu, the story isn’t going away. Today’s WJS confirmes what I hinted at previously that a probe into his fund raising activities has begun.
“The U.S. Justice Department is investigating possible campaign-finance violations by top Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu, according to people familiar with the probe. On Friday, Mr. Hsu surrendered to California officials on an unrelated grand-theft charge dating to the early 1990s.
Norman Hsu surrendered on Friday to California authorities on grand-theft charges.
Mr. Hsu, who, until earlier this week was one of the biggest fundraisers for Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Rodham Clinton, was booked at the San Mateo County jail, where he was handcuffed and later released on $2 million bail. Wearing a black suit and white shirt, Mr. Hsu rushed to a waiting black Chevy Suburban outside the jail lobby Friday afternoon without answering any questions from reporters.
Mrs. Clinton’s campaign declined to comment yesterday. The New York senator, along with other Democrats, has said she would turn over donations received from Mr. Hsu to charity.
But Mr. Hsu’s legal woes are a political blow to the many prominent Democrats who accepted his funds, in particular Mrs. Clinton. While there is no sign any of them were aware of Mr. Hsu’s actions and prior record, they could be embarrassed by the probe of his fundraising.”
Hsu is what we call in the business - a stooge. Meaning once feds begin to show him pictures of big men in orange suits who will be his friend for a LONG time, he’s going to tell a lot of stories that may just shave a little of that time off. While they’re at it the FBI should be moving in shortly to grab all the Paw family’s financial papers.
My take at this point is that Hsu is a bit player in a larger scenario of campaign finance money laundering - which is precisely what the probe may focus on. How far do the tentacles go? Hard to tell but Hsu’s been at this for a while.
Gateway Pundit notes. that Hsu name also comes up in as being named in the famous 1996 funding scandal. My, my how things do come around!
While the MSM by and large is avoiding this scandal to cover foot tapping senators, the LA Times, WSJ and of course the blogsphere will keep this story alive and well.

1The movers and shakers in the dem party have never wanted hill to be the nominee ’cause they know she can’t win the presidency. This just could be what they’re looking for to stop her. Wouldn’t be surprised if this doesn’t take her down.
The dems saw how easy it was to get Craig to resign…could they be looking at this wondering if this is a way to remove hill from running for prez…and even resigning from her senate seat????

2I have zero confidence that this will even make a ripple to Hillary.
Why should it? She looked supremely confident and should be…..she is fully protected.
I seldom made a comment for at least 4 years of Bush’s term without mentioning the lock the MSM has over politics. I could not understand how we could win the war with the MSM. The Democrats have committed what amounted to political murder over and over and they have NEVER had to answer for it because of their MSM. Serious stuff (Rocky/Berger/etc)….not the silly toetaps.
Face it……the GOP is not even in the game. The MSM has them locked out and no one has figured a way to get around it. This is NOT just a White House problem….this should have been solved by the GOP long ago. And forget thinking it is just the written word that has the power. That is a fools way in today’s time.
Like it or lump it, it is TV. That is the LOCK. Why do you think Bill Clinton attacked Wallace on the ONLY station that ever puts out another viewpoint? They sent out the big gun so they would not ever have to put a single one of their top people on FOX, ever again to answer questions.
FOX has been influenced by all this kickup also. They have always had as many liberals but it seems they are conservative because it is so odd to hear another view. They have become sloppy OR deliberate because they presented the Craig mess as uninformed as any.
Back on point….they show Hillary saying she will give the money away but once again, they let her get away with the WRONG figures. They are not presenting this corruption as what it is or accurately. They name a few names but to be accurate, they needed to show the complete list with accurate amounts. That list is unbelievable. The Pugs have almost destroyed themselves with ‘issues’ and ‘purity’ but the only reason it matters is because sticking together was the only POWER we had.
The MSM has turned into an evil force in America and makes all things possible. The GOP must figure a way to shut this down….and yes, I mean TV (it’s the real world to the masses). Otherwise, Hillary sails into the the White House and appoints Hsu as Treasurer. After all, have you ever heard Hillary have to answer hard questions from the Right? In any campaign? Nope and it is not going to happen…ever. MSM might not like her but she belongs to them.

3What kind of dimwit judge allows Hsu to write a $2,000,000.00 check for his bail only to speed off in a black Suburban? Did this clown of a judge not realize that Hsu is a flight risk? And did he think that a man who has funneled millions into the DNC, with no visable means of support, is going to have a problem walking on a $2 Mil bail?
How many want to take a guess that the first stop for that black Suburban was LAX?

4Why did Hsu get bail? He’s an obvious flight risk. (Like Charlie Tire who took it on the arches when the question of his contributions to Bill Clinton were involved.)Sweetness & Light reports his wife is a n Al Ameda probation officer. Did no one ask her where he was? Why not?
