With more evidence coming out over the weekend that Hezbollah hides among the populace while shooting Katusa rockets Israel, and additional questions arising from the timing of the building’s collaspe, I’m wondering.
Did Hezbollah rig the building to implode? It’s a question I’ve had all weekend and I’m not alone in suspicions as AJ Strata notes:
“Folks on the internet (welcome to the brave new world) and fair and balanced news organizations have been working to understand the Qana quandry. The attacks happened between 12 and 1 AM, and people evacuate. Then some ‚Äòpoor‚Äô people take shelter and the building collapses. But as bodies are pulled from the ‚Äòrubble‚Äô pictures show rescuers and victims amazingly free of dust and debris and blood. Did people die at the site? I am sure some did. But is Hezbollah pulling a fast one on a gullible world quick to jump to conclusions? Here are some reports on the matter.”
Of course this would be very easy to detect with some forensic analysis of the debri. Detection of C4 or other explosive residue and other signs could be easily confirmed.
Of course I don’t know, but I do know simple addition and this puppy isn’t adding up at all. We know that the insurrgency in Iraq rigs buildings to explode then then decoy US troops into them. We can also safely assume that since Hezbollah cares nothing for the civilian populace by placing their armanent near their dwellings, “taking them out”, to blame Israel is a viable motive. Moreover, and more ominous that if true, one has to ask “How many more are rigged”?
Perhaps Israel knows this already and that’s why they’ve reinstituted the air campaign after 48-hour cease-fire.
Update: Michelle Malkin on the Qana smokescreen.
Update II: More and more the truth is coming out.

1This post on Qana and terrorists hiding behind civilians brings me back to my personal viewpoint that in order to defeat terrorists, we must first defeat what makes them successful…media and international ABCDEFG. Same thing as what has kept Bush’s polling numbers in the tank.
I think a series of posters showing these COWARDS would be helpful. Show that 2-bit COWARD holding a baby and his gun behind his mother. Who is that 2-bit COWARD in the ski mask? What…did he just come from a 7-11 holdup? We know he is a 2-bit COWARD because he won’t show his face. Those pictures of Hezbollah fighters in civilian clothes sitting in that residential neighborhood….need the picture completed with little cartoon captions saying “Hey Maw….can you send down some more bullets? Send baby sister if yo busy”.
We have watched a very savvy media fight Bush, the Iraq war and now this. They are most effective with pictures. That’s why they ran those Abu G for months and every so often give us a refresher.
Our side would think it tacky and disrepectful to show a cartoon with Hezbollah coming out of that building at midnight but making their children stay. It is how they are winning. Somebody better start fighting.

4Since Muslims must bury their dead fast and these corpses seem to have been around for a while, and may have been taken from a morgue in Tyre, they may well be Christian children murdered by who knows………
